Her eyes convey a certain hopefulness and idealization of the viewer. Indeed, she is about to ask for a light from you, a stranger. She is certainly beautiful. Yet pained. She struggles in life, never quite getting what she needs. Her past, filled with mistakes and regret, casts a shadow on her. Maybe this time, things will work out for her. Or maybe they won't. Despite all this beauty, something's not quite right with her. Her eyes are a little *too* hopeful, her mouth just a little *too* open. Her lips, a toxic shade of green. It was over before it ever began. But...she's just so sympathetic at the same time...you're still going to give her a light, aren't you? You're not totally heartless, are you?
